This is the cheap 27-inch option for someone who mostly does office work and wants a second screen bigger than their laptop. At 1920×1080 resolution spread across 27 inches, text and images look noticeably softer than a smaller screen at the same resolution — think how a phone screenshot looks a bit fuzzy when you blow it up. It's fine for spreadsheets and browser tabs, but you'll notice it's not sharp.
The 120Hz refresh (how smoothly things move) makes scrolling through documents and web pages feel nicer than the standard 60Hz, and that carries into casual gaming if you occasionally play something light. Colors are decent for an IPS panel at this price.
The VGA port is a relic from 2005 that almost nobody needs anymore, but it's there if you're connecting ancient hardware.
