This is the cheaper version of Dell's work-from-home monitors that still covers the basics most people need. One USB-C cable powers your laptop (up to 65 watts, which handles most everyday laptops), shows the picture, and connects USB devices. It's not as fancy as the higher-end Dell models, but the desk stays cleaner than a tangle of separate cables.
The 27-inch 4K screen makes text really sharp for documents and spreadsheets, and you can tile windows side by side without running out of space. Colors look decent out of the box — not factory-tuned like the pricier UltraSharp line, but good enough unless you're doing serious photo work.
The HDR sticker doesn't mean much here. Treat it as a regular bright screen and you won't be disappointed. At 60Hz it's fine for video calls and typing but feels slow in action games.
