This monitor comes with a clamp-on arm instead of a stand, so it hovers over your desk and leaves the space underneath clear for notebooks, keyboards, whatever. The arm swings, tilts, and rotates — you can pull the screen close or push it back without moving the whole desk around.
It's a big 32-inch screen at 4K, which means text is sharp and you can comfortably fit two full-page documents side by side. LG tuned the colors to cover 95% of the professional photo standard, so what you see is accurate enough for editing work. The USB-C port powers a laptop while sending picture and data through one cable — useful if you're plugging in a MacBook or similar.
The HDR label here is mostly ceremonial. Treat it as a bright regular screen and you won't be disappointed.
