This is the monitor for someone who wants smooth high-refresh gaming but doesn't need to spend flagship money. It's 27 inches at 1440p — sharper than 1080p, not as demanding as 4K — and refreshes 240 times per second, which is plenty fast for competitive shooters or racing games. Motion stays clean and pixels respond quick enough that you won't see blurry trails.
The USB-C port is a nice surprise at this price. It carries video from a laptop, though it won't charge anything heavy — more useful for hooking up a work laptop between gaming sessions than as a full docking setup. Colors look decent out of the box, nothing fancy but no weird tints either.
The HDR sticker is marketing. It'll get bright in a sunny room, but those punchy highlight pops you see in real HDR aren't happening here.
