This is the monitor you get when you want gaming features without paying the premium prices. It's 27 inches with a noticeable curve that wraps the edges toward you — some people love how it pulls you into games, others find it distracting on a flat desk. The VA panel means blacks look properly dark instead of washed-out gray, which makes dark games and movies look better than most cheap screens.
The 165Hz refresh (how smooth motion looks) is plenty for most games, and the 1440p resolution is sharper than 1080p without needing an expensive graphics card to push it. Colors aren't as punchy as pricier IPS screens and fast motion can look a bit smeared in certain games, but for the money it delivers smooth gameplay.
The HDR label is meaningless here — it won't make highlights pop. Just think of it as a regular bright screen.
