This is Dell's budget desk monitor for someone who just needs a second screen. It's 24 inches at 1080p — not super sharp by modern standards, but good enough for email, web browsing, and spreadsheets. Text is readable but a little soft if you sit close or you're used to laptop Retina displays.
The surprise is the 120Hz refresh, which is unusual at this price. Most cheap monitors run at 60Hz, and the difference is noticeable — scrolling pages and dragging windows around feels smoother. It's not a gaming screen, but your desktop just feels nicer to use. There's also DisplayPort out, so you can daisy-chain a second monitor if your laptop or GPU supports it.
The HDR label is marketing. Treat this as a regular bright screen and you're fine.
