BenQ built this for designers and photo editors who care about accurate colors and want a clean one-cable laptop setup. The screen is factory-calibrated, which means colors look right out of the box without you tweaking settings or buying a calibration tool. At 27 inches and 4K, text is sharp and you get plenty of room for design software palettes and reference images.
The USB-C port handles picture, laptop charging (up to 65 watts), and lets you plug peripherals into the monitor instead of your laptop — so one cable in, everything works. There's also a DisplayPort out that lets you daisy-chain a second monitor if you need even more screen space down the line.
The HDR label here doesn't do much — it's called HDR but doesn't really pop like real HDR screens. Treat it as a very good regular display and you won't be disappointed.
