BenQ built this for people who hate glare. The screen has a special matte coating that diffuses reflections way better than typical monitors — if you sit near a window or work under overhead lights, this makes the picture actually usable without blinds closed and lights dimmed. The tradeoff is text looks slightly softer up close, but most people prefer that to fighting reflections all day.
It's a 27-inch 4K screen, so you get sharp text and plenty of space for windows. The USB-C port charges your laptop at 90 watts while sending picture and data through one cable, which keeps the desk clean. There's a second USB-C at lower power if you want to plug in a tablet or phone. BenQ says HDR10 but it's the fake kind — treat it as a bright regular screen.
This isn't for gaming. At 60Hz, motion feels sluggish in fast games, and the matte coating softens fine details slightly. But for documents, spreadsheets, and video calls under harsh lighting, it's a solid pick.
