This is the middle-ground gaming monitor that checks the boxes without overthinking it. 27 inches at 1440p gives you sharper detail than 1080p without needing the beefy graphics card that 4K demands. The 180Hz refresh (how smooth motion looks) makes fast games feel responsive, and pixels switch quick enough that you won't see blurry trails when things move.
The standout here is the sound — BenQ built actual speakers into this thing that don't sound like tin cans. Most monitors either skip speakers entirely or include ones so bad you'll immediately plug in headphones. These are surprisingly decent for casual gaming and watching stuff between matches.
The HDR sticker is misleading. It's called HDR but doesn't really pop the way true HDR does — treat this as a regular bright display and you won't be disappointed.
