This is the monitor you get when you want a nicer picture than your laptop but don't need gaming speed. It's 27 inches at 1440p, which means text is sharp enough for reading all day and you get more screen space than a standard 1080p monitor without needing a powerful computer to drive it.
The IPS panel shows accurate colors right out of the box, so photos and videos look natural instead of oversaturated. BenQ built in decent speakers, which is rare — they won't replace real speakers, but they're fine for video calls and background music without cluttering your desk with more cables.
The screen refreshes 60 times per second, which is standard for work but feels sluggish in fast games. The HDR label here is basically decorative — the screen gets reasonably bright but won't give you that punchy highlight effect real HDR delivers.
