This is the screen for someone who edits photos, designs things, or just wants their work to look right without fiddling with settings. ASUS calibrates it at the factory so colors match what you'd see in print or on other people's screens — useful for creative work, but mostly it means everything just looks natural and correct out of the box.
It's 27 inches at 4K resolution, which gives you sharp text and room to stack windows side by side. The USB-C port charges your laptop at 65 watts while sending picture and connecting any USB devices plugged into the monitor's four USB ports. Not quite one-cable-does-everything like some work monitors, but close.
The HDR label here is mostly decoration — the screen gets bright enough for daily work but doesn't have the punch real HDR gives movies and games. Think of it as a sharp, accurate work display that happens to play videos fine.
