This is a cheap way to get a big second screen if you mostly watch videos or need more space for browser tabs. At 27 inches with 1080p resolution, the picture isn't sharp — text has visible jaggedness around the edges, and if you put your face close you can see the individual pixels. It's workable, just not crisp.
The 100Hz refresh is enough to smooth out casual games compared to a regular 60Hz screen, but don't expect it to keep up in fast shooters. The USB-C port is a nice touch at this price — you can plug in a laptop with one cable for picture and some power, though it won't fully charge a hungry work laptop.
This is the monitor you buy when the main requirement is 'bigger and doesn't cost much'. If you can stretch the budget, a 1440p screen at this size makes text way more readable.
