This is the monitor you buy when you need something big and cheap that works. It's 27 inches, which sounds great until you realize the picture is only 1080p — that's the same pixel count as smaller screens stretched bigger. Text looks fuzzy compared to sharper displays, and if you sit close you'll notice the pixels.
The 100Hz refresh (how smooth motion looks) is a nice bonus for the price. Games and scrolling feel noticeably smoother than basic 60Hz screens, though it's not the buttery feel of true gaming monitors. Colors are fine — IPS means decent viewing angles and no weird color shifts when you look from the side.
The ports are ancient: one VGA and one HDMI. That's it. If your computer only has DisplayPort or USB-C, you'll need an adapter.
