This is the ultrawide format — basically two regular monitors fused into one long screen that curves around you. At 34 inches wide, you can keep email, Slack, and a spreadsheet all visible without alt-tabbing between windows. The curve isn't gimmick — it wraps the edges toward you so they don't feel weirdly far away.
The picture is sharper than 1080p but not quite 4K — enough that text stays crisp and you're not stuck zooming in constantly. It refreshes 120 times a second, which makes scrolling through long documents feel smoother and keeps up if you play casual games after work. The VA panel means blacks look decently dark instead of washed out, useful for watching shows with the lights off.
The HDR label here is essentially meaningless. Treat it as a regular bright screen and you won't be disappointed.
