This is 49 inches wide — seriously, measure your desk first. The curve wraps around you like you're sitting inside the screen, which sounds gimmicky but makes sense once you're using it. You get the workspace of two regular monitors side by side, except there's no bezel interrupting the middle, so spreadsheets and timelines stretch across seamlessly.
The 5120x1440 resolution means it's sharp enough for work but not crazy-dense like 4K, so your computer doesn't struggle to push games at high frame rates. At 120Hz refresh, fast games feel smooth and desktop scrolling stays clean. The VA panel gives decent contrast — blacks look darker than most work monitors — but the HDR sticker on the box doesn't mean much here, it's HDR in name only.
Gaming works great if the game supports ultrawide. Some don't, leaving black bars on the sides, which feels like wasted space on a screen this big.
