This is the monitor for someone who wants a multi-monitor setup without the bezel gap down the middle. At nearly 40 inches wide with a gentle curve, it's basically two regular monitors fused together — enough room to have a document, spreadsheet, and browser all open side by side without stacking windows.
Like Dell's other work screens, one Thunderbolt cable does everything: charges your laptop at 140 watts (even big MacBooks), feeds the picture, connects peripherals, and delivers wired internet. The desk stays clean. Text is sharp thanks to the high pixel count, and the IPS Black panel means better contrast than older ultrawides — dark parts of the screen actually look dark instead of washed out.
The 120Hz refresh rate is a nice bonus if you play games casually, but this is really built for productivity. HDR 600 is decent for watching movies in a dark room, though it's not the punchy highlight pop of high-end HDR.
