This is an ultrawide — instead of a normal 16:9 rectangle, it's stretched sideways to 21:9, roughly the width of two regular monitors side by side without the gap and bezels in the middle. The curve wraps around you a bit so the edges don't feel as far away. Good for productivity if you're tired of juggling windows, and immersive in games that support the extra width.
The VA panel gives you decent contrast — blacks look darker than typical work monitors, though nowhere near OLED deep. At 100Hz it's smooth enough for most games, and the USB-C port can power a laptop while sending picture, so you can dock with one cable. Colors are fine but not factory-tuned, so expect some tweaking if you edit photos.
The HDR label here is mostly for show — it'll display HDR content but won't make bright highlights pop the way real HDR does.
