This is the monitor you buy when you need a second screen for email and spreadsheets but don't want to think about it. It's a straightforward 22-inch display at regular 1080p sharpness — fine for text, fine for watching a video during lunch, nothing that'll wow you but nothing that'll annoy you either.
The screen uses VA panel tech, which means blacks look a bit deeper than the cheapest monitors, so dark backgrounds don't glow gray. It refreshes at 75Hz instead of the usual 60, which makes mouse cursor movement feel slightly smoother but won't change your life.
There's a VGA port, which is ancient but useful if you're hooking up an old work PC that hasn't been updated in years. Otherwise the DisplayPort connection is what you'll use.
