This is an ultrawide monitor, which means it's basically two regular screens stuck together without the annoying gap in the middle. The 34-inch curve wraps around your field of view, putting the edges closer to you, which feels immersive in games and gives you tons of room for windows when you're working.
The VA panel delivers deep blacks that make dark scenes look properly dark, and at 165Hz the motion stays smooth in fast games. Picture quality holds up whether you're racing through a landscape or tracking enemies in a shooter. The curve is noticeable — objects at the edges feel closer than on a flat screen.
The HDR label here doesn't do much — it's called HDR but doesn't really pop. Treat it as a bright regular display and you won't be disappointed. Works with game consoles, though most console games won't fill the full ultrawide shape.
